Starting today (July 26) an updated Home experience goes live for select Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. According to the announcement post onXbox Wire,

This update is designed from player feedback and makes it easier to discover new games, rediscover games you already love, connect with communities, and create a more personalized experience.

The new UI was previewed in the Xbox Insiders Program over the last several months. Wefirst reported on a new Xbox Home UI back in Septemberlast year.

The new Xbox Home screen is designed to make it easier for users to navigate to their game library, Settings, the Microsoft Store, and access search, with the inclusion of a quick access menu.

It is also designed to allow for more space for user’s personalized backgrounds—something that gamers have been clamoring for for quite a while now. There’s even a new option to change the background to match highlighted games in the Recently Played list.

The new Home UI is being soft-launched to a subset of all modern Xbox consoles. The new Home will be rolled out to all Xbox One and Series X|S consoles over the coming weeks. If your Xbox has the new Home, you may want to avail yourself ofthis handy guideto get the most out of it.
