Like other laptop manufacturers, Acer is using CES 2021 to refresh a few of its own offerings. The Predator Helios 300 (PH315-53) was lucky enough to be selected for an upgrade and right here we’ll be running you through the latest changes to this gaming platform.

So, what exactly is new with the Predator Helios 300? Well, from the outside it would be difficult to spot any notable changes because it’s all under the hood. Acer has managed to pack inside up to an RTX 3080 mobile GPU from NVIDIA, allowing gamers to select the graphics card when building their dream laptop.

Not only will you be able to select up to an NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU, but also up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM, making it possible to kit out the Predator Helios 300 with more than enough grunt to handle the latest and most demanding PC games. Throw in the 15.6-inch display with 3ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate and you’ve got one amazing machine.

Acer is expected to release the new Predator Helios 300 in the U.S. and beyond in February, starting from $1,250.
