What you need to know
If you’re a big Surface fan, Microsoft has a new Edge extension that might be up your alley. TheMicrosoft Surface New Tabextension themes your new tabs in all sorts of Surface imagery (viaAggiornamenti Lumia). There’s also a set of helpful links if you’re considering picking up a new Surface device.
The extension will take over your new tab pages, changing your default search engine to Bing and setting the background image to any one of Microsoft’s latest Surface devices. At the top-left corner, you can also select from specific Surface devices if, for example, you only want to see theSurface Pro XorSurface Duo. Under the search bar, you’ll also fine link to compare the different Surface devices, to buy Surface accessories, and more.
We’ve seen Microsoft snag several new theme extensions for Edge over the past several months, including acollaboration with Wonder Woman 1984most recently. This is likely to be the go-to choice for big Surface fans, however.
