Key notes
Here’s some good news for you. Apple has unveiled an incredible new invention called Vision Pro, an augmented reality headset that enables you to access apps simply by using your eyes, straight out of futuristic movies. Microsoft has also joined the fray by introducing productivity applications such as Word, Excel, and Teams for this advanced headset.
As shown by Apple during the product’s demo event at WWDC 2023, the tech giant showcased the productivity apps with a simplified ribbon interface reminiscent of Excel and Word web apps. These apps can now be controlled using eye movements. Additionally, Teams on this device will offer support for 3D avatars.
In terms of design, Vision Pro combines advanced materials with a compact and wearable form factor. The device’s battery life allows for two hours of continuous use, and its unrivaled hardware includes an ultra-high-resolution display system, advanced audio capabilities, and a high-performance eye-tracking system.
The question is, how much is a Vision Pro augmented reality headset by Apple and when will it hit the stores?
