What you need to know
One of the most anticipated games of this holiday season is certainly Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which impressed us in ourpreview, and is coming to current and next-gen consoles starting on November 10 with theXbox Series XandXbox Series S. Today, we get another look at Ubisofot’s upcoming open world stab-them-up, with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla making its presence known on the powerfulXbox Series Xin a new gameplay video. Watch as someone invades England as a viking in 4K, running at an incredibly smooth 60fps.
The video goes over several aspects of the game, including the Settlement, how players will get quests, environments, exploration, boss battles, and more. If you’re new to the Assassin’s Creed franchise or want a peek at how Valhalla shakes things up (or pays homage to older titles), this is a great video to watch. More than that, though, you can see how beautiful the game looks, especially running on Microsoft’s powerful Xbox Series X, which also launches on November 10.
You can pre-order Assassin’s Creed Valhalla right now, which supportsXbox Smart Delivery, which means players will get the best possible version of the game on their console with no additional effort or cost. If you’re going to be one of the first with an Xbox Series X or S, Valhalla will end up being one of the best showcases for next-gen consoles.
Conquer new lands for glory and honor
After endless wars ravage Norway and resources are scarce, you’ll lead your clan to the shores of England in the hopes of finding a new home. But not everyone is keen on having Vikings around, and King Alfred of Wessex will do all he can to keep you from settling.
