Microsoft made waves today when it announced that it isacquiring ZeniMax, meaning that Bethesda is joining Xbox. This means that all new games from teams like Arkane Studios, Tango Gameworks and more will launch intoXbox Game Pass, which has over15 million subscribers.
In a statement toBloomberg, Microsoft explained that it intends to honor the current agreements surrounding some timed exclusive titles, meaningDeathloopandGhostwire: Tokyowill still release as timedPS5exclusives. Microsoft also states that Bethesda games could come to other consoles on a “case by case” basis.
So if you’re looking for an exact list or formula for what games will be exclusive and which ones won’t — there isn’t one. We’ll have to wait and see just what happens over the next couple of years. The newXbox Series X and Xbox Series Sare set to release on November 10, with preorders opening on September 22.
