Octopath Traveler 2 - PS5:was$59.99now$29.99 at AmazonSave $20 -Octopath Traveler 2released earlier this year as a standalone sequel to Square Enix’s HD 2D RPGOctopath Traveler, and features a new cast of eight characters, each with their own story to follow. If you’re into RPGs, this is a great title to try, and this price is Amazon’s best-ever deal.

Elden Ring - PS4:was$39.99now$29.99 at Best BuySave $20 -Elden Ringmay be fast approaching its second anniversary, but FromSoftware’s latest release is still one of the best open-world action games available to play right now. The thing that makes this bargain brilliant is that it comes with a free PS5 upgrade if you own Sony’s current-gen console, so you don’t need to pay extra for a PS5 version.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - PS5:was $69.99now $29.99 at TargetSave $40 -Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris the latest in Cal Kestis’ thrilling saga, and received praise from critics(including us) when it launched earlier this year. For a 2023 hit, this is a phenomenal price that beats Amazon’s best-ever offering by a significant margin. If you’re yet to pick it up, this is an incredible deal, and even better, this same offer is available via Target on the Xbox Series X version (detailed further below).

God of War Ragnarök - PS5:was $69.99now $34.99 at Best BuySave $35 -God of War Ragnarök- the sequel to 2018’sGod of War- was one of the most exciting games to release in 2022, winning numerous awards and achieving exceptionally high critical acclaim. Being a first-party PlayStation title, it’s held its price pretty well, too, and just over a year on from its release, this is one of the best discounts we’ve ever seen on it. If you missed out last year, now’s a great time to pick it up.

Final Fantasy 16 - PS5:was $69.99now $39.99 at Best BuySave $21 -The latest standalone title in the Final Fantasy series,Final Fantasy 16released later this year to overwhelmingly positive critical acclaim. We even gave it full marks inour review. It’s since gone on to receive nominations for Best RPG, Best Narrative, and Best Score and Music at The Game Awards.

If you’ve been patiently waiting for it to drop in price, then it was certainly worth the wait, as this is on par with Amazon’s best-ever offer.

Gran Turismo 7 - PS5:was $69.99now $39.99 at Best BuySave $30 -Gran Turismo 7is arguably the best-looking racing game on PS5, and uses the DualSense controller’s features to amp up the realism even further. While not the greatest offer we’ve seen on the game over Black Friday season, this is still a solid offer for anyone who’s been looking to pick it up.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom -was$69.99now$56.97 at WalmartSave $13 -Without a doubt,The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis one of the best Nintendo Switch games to date, and having only released in May this year, we’ve not seen that many huge deals on it so far. While this price narrowly beats Amazon’s best-ever offer, it’s worth noting that it’s still higher than it was earlier in the week. Even so, major new Switch game discounts tend to be quite rare, so this is definitely worth considering if you missed out previously.

We gave itfour out of five stars in our reviewand praised its “complex combat encounters” and “gorgeous animations.”  This is the best deal we’ve seen yet for this strategy game, so be sure to consider if you’re yet to try it out.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe -was $59.99 now$29.99 at TargetSave $30 -If you lovedKirby’s Return to Dream Landon the Nintendo Wii or missed out on the cute, classic adventure, this HD Nintendo Switch remaster is for you. Having released at the start of the year, this is the best price yet for this adorable adventure, and also a pretty surprising one given how new the game is. This is a perfect couch co-op game to play with family and friends, as long as you don’t mind the fact that it won’t pose much of a challenge for adult players.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope Cosmic Edition -was$39.99now $14.99 at Best BuySave $25 -If you’re not familiar with theMario + Rabbidsgames, you’ve been missing out. The criminally underrated turn-based strategy series is a crossover between Nintendo’s famous red-hatted plumber and Ubisoft’s Rabbids, and features engaging battles amongst the general Rabbid silliness.

What’s more, this edition of the game comes with the ‘Galaxy Prestige Collection’ downloadable content, which boasts three exclusive weapon skins to use in-game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild -was $59.99now $30 at WalmartSave $29.99 -Breath of the Wildmay be fast approaching its seventh birthday (no, I can’t believe it either), but it’s a Nintendo Switch must-have for a reason. This open-world Zelda game is the direct predecessor to 2023’sTears of the Kingdom, so if you played the latest action-adventure title and want to see what happened first in the story, this is a phenomenal deal that’s cheaper than Amazon’s best-ever offering. It’s worth noting, however, that currently only the digital version is in stock at this price.

It’s also an incredibly long game, with average playthroughs expected to last around 100 hours. As such, the Nintendo Switch really is the ideal platform to play it if you’d like to chip away at it on the train, bus, or on flights. This beats Amazon’s best price by some distance, too, so it’s a fantastic bargain.

With that said, this is the best offer we’ve seen yet. It’s worth noting that the digital version can be played viaXbox Game Pass, but if you want that box on your shelf to play forever, this offer is worth your consideration.

It’s on par with Amazon’s best-ever price, and overall an excellent deal if you’ve been waiting for its price to go down.

It released at the end of September, and at TRG, we gave it four out of five stars inour review.

Yearly sports games like this often drop in price relatively fast, but this is definitely the best we’ve seen yet if you’re wanting to pick it up for the holiday season.

Halo Infinite - Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One -was $59.99now $14.99 at Best BuySave $45 -Although it’s now a couple of years old,Halo Infiniteis the latest in theHalofranchise, and it continues to get updates with new content. This offer beats Amazon’s best ever price, but do keep in mind that the game is playable via Xbox Game Pass, so unless you want a physical copy, subscribers don’t need to buy a copy in order to play it.

Redfall - Xbox Series X|S:was $69.99now $9.99 at Best BuySave $60 -Arkane’s latest first-person shooter,Redfall, didn’t exactly get off to a good start when it launched earlier this year. In fact, it’s safe to say that it’sone of the least popular games of the year. However, at $60 off, it’s an incredible deal for anyone who was hoping to pick up a physical copy of the game for their collection. If you’re not a physical game collector, however, it’s worth noting thatRedfallis available to play via Xbox Game Pass.

At £10 off, this is the best price we’ve seen yet. If you’re yet to pick up a physical copy of Insomniac Games’ latest, this is likely the best deal we’ll see for some time.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder- Nintendo Switch:was£49.99now£39.95 at AmazonSave £10 -Super Mario Bros. Wonderis also a very recent release, and if you didn’t buy it on launch, then this is a pretty great discount. The new 2D platformer has received rave reviews, including from us. Nintendo Switch games don’t tend to get many big price cuts, so to get £10 off so close to launch is a deal worth considering.

Dead Island 2 - Xbox One/Series X:was£59.99now£24.99 at AmazonSave £35 -The highly anticipated sequel toDead Islandwas finally released this year, after many delays, and if you want to see what all the fuss is about and splat some zombies, this is a great price and Amazon’s best ever offer. According to the listing, this version also comes with the Memories of Banoi Pack, which includes two unique weapons.
