With Cyberpunk 2077’s latest update, Patch 1.61, the video game now has support for AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 technology on Windows PC and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X family of current-gen Xbox consoles.
AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 is an AI-powered graphics tool that allows for visual upscaling and supercharged performance to make games look better and play faster. It’s worth pointing out that this tool hasn’t been enabled on the last-gen Xbox One console family so those playing Cyberpunk 2077 on one of those Xbox consoles shouldn’t expect any visual improvements in the near future, at least not any made as a result of FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1.
In addition to support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1, this latest Cyberpunk 2077 video game update also added a variety of new umbrellas for NPCs to carry, unlocked the Heat-resistant aramid-weave fixer shirt for non-Street Kid players, and fixed a significant number of bugs and glitches.
