Days Gone PC requirements revealed, support for ultrawide monitors and unlocked framerates confirmed

We recently learned that Sony is continuing its efforts of bringing PlayStation titles over to PC. Thisnew slate beginswith Days Gone, a third-person survival game developed by Bend Studio, a team that’s part ofSony Worldwide Studios. Days Gone tasks players with navigating an open world filled with massive hordes of infected called Freakers, so it’s not surprising that if you want it to run as well as possible, you’ll need some decent equipment.

Fortunately, the PC requirements for Days Gone are already available, so you can check and make sure you’ve got everything needed. Days Gone on PC supports ultrawide monitors, unlocked framerates and increased graphical fidelity over the PS4 version. Depending on the quality of the port, this could be one of thebest PC gamesavailable in a year of delayed releases all around.

If you’re interested in trying other PlayStation games on PC,Horizon Zero Dawnis currently available, having been released back in August 2020.

You can go ahead and wishlist Days Gone on Steam right now, while it’ll also be available on the Epic Games Store soon. Days Gone is coming to PC at some point later in Spring 2021. We’ll be sure to share the exact release date when it’s announced. This PC release includes all the free DLC added to the PS4 version of Days Gone, including New Game Plus and assorted challenges.

Days Gone stars Deacon St. John, a biker who lost a loved one in a horrific outbreak that has consumed the world. You’ll have to gather supplies, maintain your bike and outfight massive hordes of Freakers to stay alive.
