Key notes
As you might know, Baldur’s Gate 3 will come to Xbox,as per a tweet madeby the director of publishing at Larian Studios, the studio behind the game. However, it might take some time before it can be finally fixed for Xbox.
Plus, Michael Douse promises that the studio is working to achieve seamless drop-in, drop-out co-op on Xbox Series X, something that no other RPG of the similar has achieved before. So the stakes are high.
We have quite a few engineers working very hard to do what no other RPG of this scale has achieved: seamless drop-in, drop-out co-op on Series S. We hope to have an update by the end of the year.

However, the studio hopes to have an update by the end of this year. So, if we’re to take this as it is, it means thatBaldur’s Gate 3won’t be coming to Xbox this year, at least. But it will come in 2024, most probably.
But despite this, a lot of users are somewhat upset at the fact thatBaldur’s Gateis available on Steam Deck, and it’s not yet available on Xbox.
Baldur’s Gate 3 might not be on Xbox yet, but it’s coming to Windows 11 devices
Baldur’s Gate 3 will be released on Windows 11 devices on August 3rd, 2023, and the game has been highly anticipated.
The system requirements are not so demanding, however, you’ll need to free some space on your hard drives to play it. Here are the requirements for PCs.

Baldur’s Gate is fully functional on Steam Deck
According to Valve, the game is fully functional on Steam Deck. However, a lot of people are surprised that the game can run on a mobile device, but it’s not out on Xbox yet.
You realize that the steam deck has a 800p screen right? Cyberpunk is verified for SD too, and it runs at barely 30fps. This isn’t acceptable performance for the Series S and the problem is split screen coop, Larian themselves have confirmed this.
Baldur’s Gate 3 apparently is delayed on xbox because of the series s being less powerful, yet it runs on the steam deck completely fine, I’m calling b********.
