DOOM Eternalalready featured a fantastic and gripping campaign, combining its customary gory combat with an increased focus on movement and exploration, but the game is about to get a lot bigger withthe Ancient Gods - Part One, which isofficially releasing on Xbox today. DOOM Eternal’s very first campaign expansion adds all-new areas to the game, as well as brutal new enemies to conquer, and a lot more that players will simply have to dive in to witness.

As the name implies, more is coming in the future, but players can go ahead and play the first part right now. DOOM Eternal isalready on Xbox Game Pass, but players will need to purchase the expansion separately. If you bought the Deluxe Edition of DOOM Eternal, you’re set, but other players can purchase DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part One directly from Microsoft (see below).

It’s great that DOOM Eternal continues to grow with new content over time, and hopefully further expansions are plentiful and just as goretastic as the base game is. And, of course, that awesome soundtrack needs to be a mainstay.
