If you have any type of AMD Radeon hardware, and you useMicrosoft Windows10, you’ll now be glad that AMD RadeonSoftwareis now available through theMicrosoft Store.
This doesn’t mean that thesoftwareis no longer available throughAMD’s website. Instead, the goal was to make the program far more accessible.
What does the AMD Radeon Software do?
TheMicrosoft Storeversion of the AMD RadeonSoftwareis in no way any different from the version you could download from AMD’s website.
As such, it can be used to fine-tune yourGPUsettings and to perform driver updates. This comes as a welcome surprise, especially since the app support a wide variety of AMD PCGPUs.
These include the RX 5700, which was one of the company’s firstGPUsbased on the 7nm Navi architecture. If you are the proud owner of a Surface Laptop 3, then you should know that it is also powered by an AMD chip.
Having the AMD RadeonSoftwarewhile using an AMDGPUmeans that you can now adjust the video settings of your games just the way you want them to.
How do I get the AMD Radeon Software?
As mentioned above, the AMD RadeonSoftwareis now also available in theMicrosoft Store. This means that it can be installed just like any otherMicrosoft Storeapp.
All you need to do is visit the Microsoft Store website and press theGetbutton. Afterward, all you have to do is access it from the Start menu, and use it as you please.
Remember that the AMD RadeonSoftwarecan only be used if you have an AMDGPU, and will fail to launch otherwise.
