Fallout 76has had an interesting life, but the game continues to evolve with new updates and expansions since its shaky launch. The latest development in the newest Fallout title is aweek long celebration of Bombs Drop Day, which is October 23, 2020. In the Fallout universe, this is the day that the world ended, and all the bombs were dropped. To celebrate, Fallout 76 is going completely free-to-play, featuring in-game events and sales, and offering a new Fallout 1st Preview.
If you’ve been waiting for a chance to dip your toes into Fallout 76 without committing to a purchase, this is the time to do it. For an entire week, starting right now, Fallout 76 is completely free-to-play, including all of its expansions and updates. Even better, if you decided to purchase after the week is over Fallout 76 and all of its bundles will also be on sale. Any progress you make during the week will carry over if you purchase the game.
There will also be some in-game events, including double XP, and some sales on in-game packs and content. Even if you’re a veteran Fallout 76 player, this could be a good chance to splurge if you’re interested. Finally, for the week, there will also be a Fallout 1st Preview, which will give players some of the perks and features of a Fallout 1st membership without needing to pay for it.
