Microsoft has announced a new update on itsMicrosoft 365 roadmap. Soon, users of Planner and Loop will be able to integrate their plans into Loop-enabled applications using a dedicated Planner component. This move comes shortly after Trello, a comparable platform, introduced itsintegration with Loop last week.

Microsoft Planner is a task management tool that helps teams organize and track their work.

With the help of Loop, this integration offers users the ability to access and modify their plans while working on other tasks. The Planner feature will first be introduced in the Loop app. It will later become available in other Loop-enabled apps.

This new integration is assigned Feature ID 161955 and was officially added to the roadmap on August 16, 2023. The integration is set to cover a wide user base, with the global cloud instance under the Standard Multi-Tenant model. The integration will primarily be accessible through the web platform and is expected to reach General Availability status.

The rollout of this integration is scheduled to commence in September 2023, offering users coordination in their planning and task management processes.
