What you need to know
According to aTweetmade by 343 Industries’HaloCommunity Manager John Junyszek,Halo Infinitewill feature a Challenges system for its progression. If this system is anything like the one that’s currently in place for the Master Chief Collection, players will be able to complete a variety of different PvE and PvP challenges in order to boost their progress. Additionally, Junyszek also noted that some challenges will also unlock some items outright, which may indicate that some items will be exclusively available through achievements akin to the older Halo games.
Yes, Challenges! You’ll also have those Swaps, which you can get different ways (in-game, promos, etc), that let you change certain ones if they aren’t your cup of tea. The Challenge system will help you move through the progression system or unlock items outright (think MCC!) 👍Yes, Challenges! Something interesting about the Tweet is that it mentions “Swaps,” which are described as tools that let you change challenges you don’t like. These Swaps will be available through in-game and promotional means according to Junyszek, although it sounds like there may be other methods of obtaining them as well.
