Microsoft has been consistently adding new features to its Edge browser which are all designed to enhance the user’s experience. And it seems that the company will not be slowing down anytme soon.

Microsoft is reportedly working on a new feature, which some might term as the “most requested feature”. While some segments of the Edge browser are already optimized for use with touch, there is a new feature, Touch Mode, that is in the works that will further enhance this capability. The company had incorporated a new option to the browser which enables a dedicated UI for touch devices as spotted byLeopeva64-2 on Reddit.

As per the video above, once you enable the feature the browser’s elements seem to be enhanced in size. What’s more, the Touch Mode also comes with anAutooption which can be accessed from the drop-down menu. With the option enabled, the browser can switch between modes because it can now tell if you are using Windows with touch or not.

If you are on the Microsoft Edge Canary Channel, there is a probability that you can be able to access this new feature. You can access the new Touch Mode feature in Edge by navigating throughSettings>Appearance>Touch. As of right now, this looks to be another feature that is in A/B testing. We don’t have it on our end just yet.
