HONOR announced theMagicBook Protoday during its IFA 2020 event. The laptop features a large 16.1-inch screen packed into a smaller form factor. The MagicBook Pro will be available from September 7, 2020 starting at €899.9. HONOR did not discuss any launch of the laptop in the United States.

The new laptop from HONOR runs on an AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor and features a 16.1-inch display with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. It pairs that processor with integrated Radeon graphics with six cores and 12 threads. The display of the laptop has 100 percent sRGB and reaches 300 nits of brightness.

Inside, the laptop has dual fans and dual heat pipes to stay cool. HONOR highlights that its design within the MagicBook 14 Pro delivers 20 percent more airflow than traditional cooling fans.

HONOR also highlights how the MagicBook Pro packs in features usually reserved for larger and heavier laptops into a more compact form factor. The laptop has a 16.1-inch screen despite having a similar footprint to many 15-inch laptops, and it is 16.9mm thin.
