Key notes
It has been a very exciting week for Microsoft and Windows users. At theMicrosoft Inspire 2023Conference, Microsoft 365 had a panel where Microsoft executives discussed the future of the platform.
And the Redmond-based tech giant also announced theMicrosoft 365 Copilotis coming and it will have a price of $30 per user per month for commercials users. It will be available to Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium customers when broadly available.
Plus, there are a lot of new features coming to Microsoft Teams as well. One of the many features that standoutis the ability to use the Teams chat while browsing on Edge. Not to mention,Microsoft also announced Bing Chat Enterprise, the version of Bing AI but for work. The tool is available now in Preview.
All of these come with Microsoft 365 plan, and it seems Microsoft has a security plan for it too. It’s calledMicrosoft 365 backup, and you’ll be able to use it to back up and restore critical files of your business.
Here’s how to protect your data with Microsoft 365 backup
First of all, you’ll need to access the Microsoft 365 admin center dashboard. If you’re an IT admin, using Microsoft 365, you should have the admin credentials to do that. If, for any reason, you can’t access it, don’t worry, there are solutions.
By doing so, you’ll be able able to backup all your SharePoint sites, Exchange mailboxes, and OneDrive accounts in one click.
When the backup is complete, Microsoft 365 Backup will let you know, by highlighting a green check to each panel below.
Microsoft hasn’t given any details so far about the feature, but it will most likely be included in your existing plans and subscriptions. The feature will be available by the end of 2023, so later this year.
What do you think about this new feature? Are you excited about it? Let us know in the comments section below.
