Text Grabis a quick and easy appavailable on GitHubthat usesOptical Character Recognition (OCR)built into Windows to grab any on-screen text. It doesn’t need to run in the background and doesn’t require an internet connection. It was designed to beeasy to useand efficient, allowing users to be more productive onWindows 10andWindows 11.

Text Grab can be usedto grab text from pictures, PDFs, applications, videos, websites, and any combination of the above. It has four different modes:Full-Screen Mode,Grab Frame mode,Edit Text Window, andQuick Simple Lookup.

There’s a new update out, bringing the version number to 3.2, announced by app creatorJoe Finney on Twitter.
