HP unveils ENVY 13 and ENVY x360 13 laptops with latest Intel chips

HP announced new versions of the ENVY 13 and ENVY x360 13 laptops. The upgraded laptops feature 11th Gen Intel Core processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics. They both are part of Intel’s Evo platform.
Built with creators in mind, both the ENVY 13 and ENVY x360 13 have improved internals, compact form factors, and modern connectivity. With Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0, the laptops should be able to quickly connect to a wide range of accessories and devices.
The ENVY 13 starts at $900, and the ENVY x360 13 starts at $950, with both launching in October 2020.
HP ENVY 13
The ENVY 13 is built for creators. It has the latest ports and connectivity, including Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0. While the display of the laptop is FHD or 4K, it can output up to 5K through Thunderbolt 4. The ENVY 13 gets up to 13 hours of battery life, according to HP.
The ENVY 13 supports HP Quickdrop, which is an app that allows you to wirelessly transfer files between Windows, iOS, and Android.
The ENVY 13 is available in metal or wood options, though wood options are limited to certain regions.
HP ENVY x360 13
The ENVY x360 13 is also built for creators. It also runs on the latest Intel processors and can flip around to function as a tablet as well. It supports touch, pen input, and has an all-in-one keyboard, which can help with hotkeys.

The ENVY x360 13 also supports HP Quickdrop to easily transfer files between devices across operating systems.
The ENVY x360 13 has several privacy features as well, including a camera shutter and a SureView privacy screen.
Both devices should launch in October and will be available to order on HP’s website and through Best Buy.
