Microsoft has just released the latest update for PowerToysbumping it to v0.66.0. When compared to theprevious update, this is quite a significant update as it features a self-contained .NET 7 thus making it easier to keep it updated. It also saves on storage space. What’s more, users now get to pick which language the Text Extractor uses from the installed OCR languages.

On top of these, the update also unpacks a ton of bug fixes and stability improvements, not to mention the new setting that lets users sort the order of the accented characters by usage frequency in Quick Accent and fix for the reduced resource consumption bug that was caused by logging.
