Lenovo has officially unveiled their new gaming handheld, the Legion Go, atIFA Berlin 2023. The company also announced an array of other gaming accessories that will perfectly complement the console, thus confirming all of Windows Report’s initial leaked info about these devices.
First, let’s backtrack a bit:
The Legion Go is officially confirmed, aggressively priced
Lenovo has officially revealed the Legion Go alongside other gaming accessories at IFA, confirming all of our initial leaked data. The console is going up against the likes of Valve’s Steam Deck, ASUS’ ROG Ally, AYANEO’s handhelds (with theKUN on the way), and the Nintendo Switch, combining some of the best features of each.
It is a bit heavier than the competition, coming in at 854g, but the 8.8-inch QHD+ screen more than makes up for that. The Legion Go is similar to the ROG Ally, sporting an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme, 144Hz display, a 49.2WHr battery, and 16GB of RAM. Here’s the full specifications:
And that’s not all, as Lenovo also confirmed the console will come with Hall Effect joysticks, eliminating drift and dead zones. That’s great news for most of the gamers out there, especially for the hardcore ones.
But maybe the biggest news is the price: the Legion Go is set to hit the market at a very aggressive $699 in the US, which means it’s a direct competitor for the ROG Ally but with many more features. You’ll be able to buy it sometime at the end of October. Until then, you can seehow it stacks up against its biggest competitors, the Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
Lenovo also launched a series of laptops & accessories
Besides the Legion Go, Lenovo also revealed the Legion AR Glasses and the Legion E510 in-ear gaming headphones that should take your on-the-go gaming experience to the next level.
Regarding laptops,the powerhouse Lenovo Legion 9iwill also be available sometime in October, but at a hefty price. Maybe the top specs and the incredible build quality will make the price easier to digest.
