Cyberpunk 2077is just as much about action as exploration, and you’ll need to be well-prepared to stand up against its not-so-friendly citizens. Night City comes littered with weapons to discover, each with their fundamental attributes and accompanying stats and add-ons that skew their in-game capabilities. And while still early days for Cyberpunk 2077, we’re rounding up every weapon spotted so far, alongside how to find them for yourself.

The diverse world of Cyberpunk 2077 also includes a varied assortment of weapons, from the bleeding-edge in sci-fi armaments through classic silhouettes of the modern-day. While it’s easy to get caught up in the beauty of Night City, you’ll need to assemble a loadout to survive, with dozens of options scattered throughout to accommodate your playstyle. That means it’s crucial to understand the fundamental weapon types in Cyberpunk 2077 and how your weapon of choice can influence playstyles.
Every firearm in Cyberpunk 2077 falls into three main archetypes — “Power Weapons,” “Smart Weapons,” and “Tech Weapons.” The guns in each have their shared traits that define the category, which hugely impacts how they function in combat.
Cyberpunk 2077 also featured a familiar color-coded tiered loot system, where all gear earns a rarity rating from common through legendary. These can impact the rolls on your weapons, including additional mod slots to expand its capabilities. Every weapon also comes in-game corporations, with entry-level manufacturers like Budget Arms and Rostovic and premium labels like Arasaka and Kang Tao.
And as with any title boasting a diverse arsenal, you have the traditional weapon categories, each with their strengths and weaknesses in combat. For example, pistols are compact yet deadly, assault rifles boast higher fire rates, while shotguns deliver a heavy blow when up close. You’ll be familiar with the options if you’ve played any shooter before, and they translate seamlessly into Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077’s future city hosts all kinds of crazy technology, and its variety of Smart weapons have proven an efficient companion for killing. Any firearms in this class utilize special tracking rounds, which, when locked onto targets, alter their travel around a designated path.
