The first thing you’ll need in Valheim is a good weapon to protect yourself and the right tools to set up camp. Here’s every weapon and tool available in Valheim, and what you’ll need to make them.

Weapons

These are all of the clubs, spears, swords, and knives currently found in Valheim. One-handed weapons can be dual-wielded with a torch or a shield, but two-handed weapons cannot.

Bows

If you prefer combat from afar, you’ll have plenty of different bows to choose from.

You may have crafted a bow, but it’s useless without any ammunition.

Tools

These tools are vital to your survival while playing Valheim. Not only can they be used for building and maintenance, but you can use them to do damage, too. Make sure you have at least one of these lying around at all times.
