There is that time of the month again. Yes, you know it.Patch Tuesday updates are here, and there are a lot of new features coming up on Windows 11. The live servers can finally experience the useful featureof quickly emailing files to yourself on Windows 11.
Also coming to live servers with KB5028185are the voice command features, which you can use now, after you update your Windows 11, of course. Officially,the VPN status icon on your Wi-Fi networkicon is also live with updates, so you’ll feel far more protected knowing that your network is secure.
However, one of the most useful new features coming up in KB5028185 is the Live Kernel Memory dump. You can easily fix your PC with it, while still working at your PC. The package introduces the LKD collection from the Task Manager. And you can easily work around it to fix your PC on your own.
To install the latest Patch Tuesday updates, just let your Windows 11 download them, and then restart your PC. You can also manually install them by downloading theKB5028185 package.
How to use the Live Kernel Memory to fox your PC
This captures a Full live kernel or Kernel stack memory dump. The dump will be written to a fixed location:%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\TaskManager\LiveKernelDumps.You can also go to the Task Manager Settings page to view or edit the settings for live kernel memory dumps.
You can use LKD to gather data to troubleshoot an issue while the OS continues to work. This reduces downtime when you must investigate an unresponsive program or high-impact failures.
