We recently reported on both Windows 11 and Windows 10 May Patch Tuesday updates and gave you arundown of what changes and updates to expect. But as it now seems, some users that made the update areexperiencing authentication issuessuch as Network Policy Server (NPS), Routing and Remote access Service (RRAS), and Radius among others as confirmed by Microsoft via theWindows Health Dashboard.
In the report, Microsoft identifiesWindows Servers machines used as domain controllersto be the most affected by these bugs. However, client Windows devices and non-domain controlled Windows Servers havenot been affected by these challenges.
Microsoft has indicated that they are currently investigating the matter and will provide an update during the upcoming release where they will hopefully come up with a permanent fix for this issue. But in the meantime, as a workaround, Microsoft recommends manually mapping certificates to a machine account in Active Directory to bypass the authentication challenges. Users can visitCertificate Mappingdocumentation for a more detailed account of how to go about this process.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.
