Microsoft Edge version 86 brings several improvements to Microsoft’s Chromium-based browser. The update started rolling out on October 9, 2020 and Microsoft recently shared its release notes. The update includes several new features, including the option for admins to rollback to a previous version of Microsoft Edge, new options for viewing and marking up PDFs, and the option to delete downloaded files directly within the browser. Microsoft Edge 86 should roll out to Windows PCs and devices running macOS.
The set of PDF updates provides a new set of functionality within the browser. In addition to optimizing PDF functionalities for smaller screens, the latest version of Microsoft Edge also lets you highlight PDFs with a pen and navigate with a table of contents.
