We recently reported on the latest Google Chrome release which was in place toaddress zero-day vulnerabilities for Windows users. And as it now seems, Microsoft has followed suit by releasing an updated version of Edge which is slated to address the same issueas spotted by Neowin.
Here’s the information Microsoft provided regarding this update onEdge’s changelog:
This update contains a fix for CVE-2022-2294, which has been reported by the Chromium team as having an exploit in the wild.
Your browser should auto-update to the latest version, however, if this does not happen you can trigger it manually by navigating through Microsoft Edge’s menu, then selecting Help and Feedback, and finally clicking on the About Microsoft Edge option. Wait for the update to complete the download then restart your browser.
