Trial the change by editing or authoring a formula in the formula bar. This subtle yet essential transformation solely affects the formula bar’s appearance, leaving the actual spreadsheet aesthetics untouched.

The new formula bar font, currently under Beta testing on Windows, will first be rolled out for Excel for Windows users later. Microsoft also hypothesized the possibility of implementing the monospaced font in PowerPoint’s formula bar following the response and feedback.
