According to theNew York Post, after Bromley Companies completed its $100 million redevelopment in the Flatiron District near Union Square, Microsoft relocated to its new offices at 122 Fifth Ave.

Spanning across floors 6 to 10, Microsoft’s East Coast AdTech Hub occupies 150,000 square feet of the building. Additionally, the company enjoys exclusive access to a section of the newly constructed 13,200-square-foot rooftop terrace and the 5,500-square-foot Pavilion, featuring floor-to-ceiling wraparound glass. Microsoft boasts a private entrance on Fifth Avenue to enhance its presence.

Nicholas Haines, CEO of Bromley Companies, expressed his satisfaction: “122 Fifth Avenue has been a part of Bromley’s portfolio for nearly five decades, and witnessing the realization of our reimagined space is truly remarkable.”

“The comprehensive restoration, renovation, and expansion of 122 Fifth Avenue exemplify our shared dedication and regard for the urban landscape of this neighborhood,” commented David Burns, a principal at STUDIOS Architecture.

The STUDIOS team took charge of the design and architecture and navigated through the rigorous review process of the city’s Landmarks Preservation Commission. Burns emphasized the importance of seamlessly blending contemporary elements, contextual relevance, and historical sensitivity in completing the block, a goal both Bromley and STUDIOS shared.

To enhance accessibility, the building’s new primary entrance now resides at the base of an architecturally integrated, 11-story addition constructed on the site of a former parking lot on West 17th Street.
