Microsoft has just released an update for PowerToys bumping it toversion 0.69. The new update features a new utility,the long-awaited Registry Preview toolthat’s designed to help advanced users preview the impact of importing a .reg file into the registry, along with registry editing options.

Thanks to this new addition to the platform, users will no longer have to rely on external software like Notepad to make edits and adjustments through .reg files. The update also features a fix for the crashing issue caused by thumbnail image loading as well as support for per-user scope installation.
