Microsoft has released another one of its “servicing pipeline” updates, this time for Windows Insider Dev Channel build 22509. The Cumulative Update, marked 22509.1011 (KB5008918) is mean to test the servicing pipeline, and does not include any new features or fixes.

However, Dev Channel Insiders may run into an error when trying to update to this latest build:

Some Insiders may encounter an error (an 800F0823 error is shown under update history) trying to install this Cumulative Update. A subsequent retry of installing this Cumulative Update is expected to complete successfully.

You can read about the latest updates coming earlier in the week with Dev Channel build 22509, includingMicrosoft’s backtracking on setting a default browser, as well aschanges to the Start Menu, Taskbars, and Settings, all right here at OnMSFT.com.
