Microsoft ships fresh fixes for Windows 10, including Windows Hello bug

We saw July’sWindows 10Patch Tuesday updates arrive last week, and now Microsoft is shipping out another round of them. Today, the updates are available for Windows 10 versions 1809, 1903, and 1909. There are a wide range of fixes included with each update, including one for a rather annoying Windows Hello bug.

For Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909, the most notable fix is for Windows Hello. Previously, your PC might fail to recognize your Windows Hello camera. This build fixes that issue, hopefully getting Windows Hello back in working order for PCs on these releases.

For now, these are the only updates with release notes available. It’s possible we could see further cumulative updates land for other Windows 10 versions, including 2004, later this week. In the meantime, if your PC is on any of these versions, you can pick up today’s updates now via Windows 10.
