Earlier this week, Microsoft identified a bug that was causing some users running on Windows 11 21H2 to experience someissues when signing in. Further detailing that this occurred to those who installed KB5016691 and then added a new Microsoft account to their devices. However, those with Azure or Active Directory services did not encounter this problem.

But Microsoft has nowpatched the issueusing Known Issue Rollback (KIR), though it might take up to 24 hours to resolve the problem. They have also indicated that restarting your device after applying this fix might help hasten the process. ” For enterprise-managed devices that have installed an affected update and encountered this issue can resolve it by installing and configuring a special Group Policy. The special Group Policy can be found in Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> KB5016691 220722_051525 Known Issue Rollback -> Windows 11 (original release),” says Microsoft.

Microsoft has further provided a workaround for the issue, highlighting that it will resolve itself within a short span of time. Users will need to wait for the lock screen to appear again so that they can sign in as they usually do.

For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web.

Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they’re looking for.
