It looks as though the next installment of Xbox Game Studio’s landmark Forza Motorsport seriesmight be coming to Xbox One after all, if the latest leaks on the subredditr/gamingleaksandrumoursare to be taken seriously.
Forza Motorsport 8 was first announced all the way back in July of 2020, and it has beenwidely thought that it will be a next-gen only titlewhen it does finally arrive. However at this time no release date has been set, and there has been no word from Turn 10 Studios on whether there will in fact be a last-gen version of their newest sim racer.

The purported leaks al least give hope to those who haven’t made the next-gen leap. The leaked images of the game are apparently from the Xbox One build of the game, from around sometime last summer. The post’s content has been verified by the subreddit’s moderators.
Even if the newest Forza Motorsport is made available on last-gen hardware, you can rest assured that the Series X|S version will be optimized for that platform with 4K resolution, ray tracing, and most likely 120 fps. For the meanwhile this “leak” should be taken with a grain of salt until there is official word from the studio on possibility of an Xbox One version.
