Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead group are currently testinga new power options settings page. Apparently the new menu will allow users to “better decide how you want your console to behave when you turn it off.” Specifically, users will be able to see how much power is used both in standby and energy saver modes, and choose either as the console’s shut-down option.
Microsoft has added a much better power options screen to the Xbox dashboard. It shows you how much power is used in both modeshttps://t.co/2i5WxcIVdSpic.twitter.com/wyajIzkmSz

This is thelatest in Microsoft’s efforts to include Xbox in its sustainability measures. You may recall that last year improvements were made to the Series X|S energy saver mode whereby system and game updates were made downloadable in energy saver. Earlier this yearMicrosoft also stated that it aimed to make all Xbox products 100% recyclable.
You can expect the new power options menu to become available to the general Xbox gaming public sometime soon.
