What you need to know
During the recentPS5 showcase, one of the major third-party titles shown wasResident Evil Village. As previous rumors indicated, this game follows Ethan, protagonist of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, as he follows Chris Redfield to a snowy village filled with creepy characters, including werewolves.
Much like the past few Resident Evil games, Resident Evil Village is running on the RE Engine. This time however, the developers aren’t held back by current hardware, as Resident Evil Village is only coming to next-generation platforms and PC. You can take a look at several screenshots below.
Resident Evil Village is set to release sometime in 2021 onXbox Series X,PS5and PC. Based on the release schedule of other Capcom titles over the last few years, it’s likely going to release sometime between January and April 2021.
