What you need to know
During the PC Gaming Show, one of the many games shown off wasOoblets. It’s a charming title self-described by the developers as “Harvest Moon meets Pokémon meets Animal Crossing.” You’ll have to collect Ooblets, compete in dance-offs and get to know your local townsfolk. It’s been in development for a few years now, finally coming to early access on Xbox One and the Epic Games Store “very soon.”
We made a game about creature collection, farming, and dancing…and it’s coming to early access very soon to Epic and Xbox One!Wishlist it now:https://t.co/Y5zteB5ejWpic.twitter.com/onP0tjPIuMWe made a game about creature collection, farming, and dancing…and it’s coming to early access very soon to Epic and Xbox One!Wishlist it now:https://t.co/Y5zteB5ejWpic.twitter.com/onP0tjPIuM— Ooblets (@ooblets)June 13, 2020June 13, 2020
Admittedly, “very soon” isn’t an exact date but hopefully this means interested players won’t have to wait long to try it out. The trailer suggests this summer, likely translating to the weeks ahead. You can wishlist it on the Epic Games Storeright now.
