As perPayPal, they and Microsoft have announced a significant integration of PayPal’s Pay Later solution in several countries, including the U.S., U.K., Australia, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Additionally, U.S. customers will soon have the option to pay with Venmo, a PayPal subsidiary, in the Microsoft Store, where Venmo is already available on Xbox.
The new integrations aim to provide customers with more flexible payment options and boost customer loyalty. For over 16 years, PayPal checkout has been a method for Microsoft Store customers to purchase a range of products, including Surface devices, Xbox consoles, accessories, and Microsoft 365’s suite of products.
The inclusion of PayPal Pay Later and Venmo brings additional benefits to Microsoft’s customers and its business. With PayPal Pay Later, eligible consumers can now spread their payments over weeks or months in fixed amounts, providing more flexibility and better budget management.
Moreover, the integration of Venmo enables a swift and straightforward checkout process, where customers have the option to purchase subscriptions or split payments upon purchase.
Ajith Thekadath, Vice President of Global Payments at Microsoft, emphasized their commitment to providing the best experience for customers, whether for entertainment or productivity.
