Microsoft has released the latest version of PowerToys, bumping it up to version 0.65.0. When compared to theprevious release, this version does not come with any new utilities, like the much anticipatedquick launcher. Though it features a ton of bug fixes and stability improvements.
When you upgrade to this version, you’ll notice that the codebase has been upgraded to work with .NET 7. What’s more, the Quick Accent utility will now show a description of the selected character, and finally, the ColorPicker supports adding custom formats.

However, it is worth noting that this update comes with a couple of known issues. For instance, the Text Extractor utility may fail to recognize text on ARM64 devices running Windows 10. Moreover, some users might find that the new Windows 11 context menu entries for PowerRename and Image Resizer might fail to appear, though a system restart might fix this.
And finally, some users have lodged complaints indicating that they are not able to open the Settings window, which is caused by incompatibilities with some applications. Microsoft has however presented a solution for this, which should work for you. Be sure to check out the full changelog for this and more.
If you are interested in trying out PowerToys on Windows 10 or 11, you can download the version 0.65.0update from the GitHub page. If you already have PowerToys running on your device, it should automatically notify you of this update.
