Quake 2 Remastered appeared inSouth Korea’s Game Rating and Admission Committee, which made many believe a Remastered version is on its way.

And recently, there have also been reports that an Enhanced Edition of Quake 2 is also in the works, further suggesting that Quake 2 is indeed coming to Xbox.

On August 10, Quake 2 was released on Microsoft Store and Xbox Store, and you can download it now. The game is on Game Pass as well, so if you already have a subscription, then you should only download and install it.

Quake 2 Remastered, but officially out just as Quake 2, was remastered and repolished by Bethesda Softworks.
