Runway Gen-2is officially out in the world, and the engine is the perfect tool if you are a video-savvy producer. The tool uses AI to generate spectacular videos, fully-rendered and full of effects.

As the tech world adopts AI more and more, withMicrosoft announcing that Copilot is coming to Windows 11 very soon, it’s only natural that creatives adopt it too.

And since we’re also sort of creative with the work that we do, we’ve generated a whole stunning short film with it. And we’re going to show you how we did it.

We’re only telling you this: the result is an awesome piece of art done with minimal work, and rendered before our very eyes.

Here’s what we did with Runway Gen-2

Using the Runway Gen-2 for the first time, you should know that the whole process is simple. Intuitive even.

You can actually use it to generate as many videos as you like until you find the one that suits your creative vision.

Naturally,we used Chat-GPTto generate a visual script with prompts for the video based on the following keywords: apocalyptic, shamanic, and futuristic.

The AI then generated a script of 100 seconds. With it, we headed back to the Runway Gen-2 with the script, and the AI did its job. In a matter of seconds, the video was real.

We copied each line of the script, and Runway-Gen 2 generated a video for each of these lines. The results exceeded what we expected, by far.

Of course, you have the liberty to process each video through your preferred video editor, but by itself the AI tool does a wonderful job.

Since the video was almost done, we only needed some music, and Ed, our colleague, composed some mystical-ethereal music for the film.

We added the music, and the result left us in awe.

You need to know that, while Runway Gen-2 generates the video, you still needto edit them further in video editing software.

However, the work this tool does on itself is stunning.
