Sea of Thieves has already been optimized forXbox Series XandXbox Series S,running at4K 60 FPS and 1080p 60 FPS respectively, with vastly reduced load times. If you have an Xbox Series X however, there’s now another way to play Rare’s pirate adventure.

As part of alarger updatebringing Seasons and more, Sea of Thieves gets a 1080p 120 FPS mode on Xbox Series X. You’ll be able to select this mode when playing on your Xbox Series X as long as it is connected to a compatible TV.

Sea of Thieves crossed over 15 million players back in 2020, with over a million copies sold on Steam. Like all Xbox Game Studios titles, it’s also available onXbox Game Pass.
