Microsoft has today announced that the Graphite Grey variant of its new Surface Earbuds will be launching September 10, several months after the Surface Earbuds launched in Glacier White. The new Graphite Grey option will cost the same as the Glacier White model at $199.

There’s nothing else really new with this new model of Surface Earbuds, as it’s just the color that’s been updated. Many have been waiting for a darker color choice for Surface Earbuds, as they were announced alongside the white pair back in October last year. For some unknown reason, the Graphite Grey model was delayed until now.

Microsoft’s Surface Earbuds are a unique pair of truly wireless headphones with excellent sound and premium comfort. Featuring 8 hours of charge, special integration with Microsoft 365, and intuitive touch controls for answering calls, changing volume, and controlling your music.

You’ll be able to pick up the Surface Earbuds in Graphite Grey starting September 10 if you feel that the darker aesthetic is something you prefer. If not, you can buy the Glacier White pair today and have them in your hands by the end of the week.

Surface Earbuds have an excellent, albeit unique, design that is comfortable for all-day wear. However, incredibly good audio and exceptional battery life may not be enough to justify $200 compared to more affordable options.
