What you need to know

Microsoft released a fresh set of firmware updates for both theSurface Pro Xand first-genSurface Studiotoday. The updates largely focus on improving system stability across both PCs. However, the Surface Pro X also received some extra attention to battery performance, audio performance, and more.

This is the first set of firmware updates for the Surface Pro X since April, and the first for the Surface Studio since January. Both updates are available to download from Windows Update now.
