Microsoft shipped a firmware update for theSurface Pro Xthis week. The update enables mobile operator self registration, which makes it easier to set up a connection to LTE carriers, especially when traveling abroad. The update also improves Bluetooth reliability and Wi-Fi reliability. The Surface Pro X is already one of thebest Windows laptopsbecause of its mobility, so self registration is a nice addition.
