What you need to know
The march toward a fully realized Diablo 4 game continues today with a major unveiling at BlizzConline 2021. The Rogue, a bow-wielding death threat that first appeared in the original Diablo game, has been announced, joining the Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid as playable classes.
Blizzard treated us to a bit of Diablo 4 Rogue gameplay, which includes a ton of arrows, quick movements, and covert daggers. If you played Diablo 2 and its Lord of Destruction expansion, you should also recognize some similarities between the Assassin class that deals in lethal traps and agility. This should prove to provide some frenetic, exciting gameplay.
With the Rogue announced, there is but one more class to be unveiled if we’re going by Blizzard’s word of five playable classes at launch. If you’re wondering how the Rogue fits into the game’s lore, head on over to ourDiablo 4: Lore and story we know so farpost for a ton of information.
