The video game world is a huge and complicated affair, but few stories captured quite as much attention as the mismanagement and subsequent death of Telltale Games, a legendary studio famous for their episodic story-based games like the Wolf Among Us. After Telltale Games went under,LCG Entertainment bought the brand and assetsand revived the studio with the focus on avoiding the previous team’s mistakes. Working with AdHoc Studio, another game studio that was started by former Telltale developers, the new studio isworking on the Wolf Among Us 2. After a year of relative silence, we have another update on the new Telltale’s first major project.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is still in active development, and the team is working on producing the entire season all at once, rather than one episode at a time. In the meantime, Telltale has been re-releasing other games that were recovered by LCG Entertainment, but many of Telltale’s former IPs were bought by other parties.

Any further news on the Wolf Among Us 2 will unfortunately have to wait a little bit longer, so don’t expect any further updates any time soon. The update mentions that “when the time is right, we’re going to have alotto talk about,” before wishing fans a happy 2021, indicating that it truly may take a little while before we get more information.
