Slow NVMe SSD performance issues have plagued Windows 11 since March 2023;something similar happened a couple of years ago.The problem was traced back to the March 2023 Patch Tuesday update, but Microsoft remained quiet.
There are reports that some users have noticed enhancements after installing the optional update in July 2023. It has also been stated that the August 2023 Patch Tuesday update (KB5029263) has resolved the SSD issue for most users. However, certainly, this doesn’t apply to all. Thus, some users have experienced over a 50% decrease in speed, as they had previously reported.
