Dominoes players can now finally enjoy one of their favoritegames inWindows 10andWindows 8.1. The popular Dominoesapphas been recently updated in theWindows Storeand has received full support forWindows 8.1, 10Let’s get something clear from the beginning – we are talking about the dominoes game, and not Domino’s Pizza. And yes, Domino’s Pizza also has the same logo that depicts the Dominoes game. But we’re talking about the popular tile-based game dominoes or, how some call it, dominos.

For those that are beginners in Dominoes, here’s its description and we can mention that the app has a built-in tutorial to learn how to play:

The traditional Sino-European domino set consists of 28 dominoes, colloquially nicknamed bones, cards, tiles, tickets, stones, or spinners. Each domino is a rectangular tile with a line dividing its face into two square ends. Each end is marked with a number of spots (also called pips or nips) or is blank. The backs of the dominoes in a set are indistinguishable, either blank or having some common design. A domino set is a generic gaming device, similar to playing cards or dice, in that a variety of games can be played with a set.

I’ve been playing this game on myWindows 8tabletwith the Dominoesapp(link at the end) and have recently discovered an update that means nothing else than just the fact that it has been updated forWindows 8.1. The game is 100% free and comes with the following playing modes: muggins, block and draw. This Dominoesapplets up to four differentWindows 8orWindows 8.1players to enjoy the game.

You can also choose to play against a very smart artificial intelligence opponent if you’re lacking friends. The score is very easy to keep and the statistics that are provided are also helpful. Inside this Dominoes game forWindows 8you will find five different domino styles and game themes. Do you like to play dominoes onWindows 8?

[UPDATE] The Dominoes app has received support in Microsoft Store and it is still a great free game to play on Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows Phone 8.1, Windows Phone 8.
